How do we know that God will not cast off His people?

The assurance that God will not cast off His people is rooted in His nature and the covenant of grace. His faithfulness is unwavering, so much so that He would sooner cease to exist than abandon us. The completion of Christ's sacrificial work assures us of our security in Him.
