How do we know that God will pardon our sins?

Answered in 1 source

We know God will pardon our sins through His faithfulness and the sacrificial work of Christ, which fulfills the demands of justice.

God's willingness to pardon our sins is rooted in His holiness and justice, which He satisfies through Christ's sacrifice. Hebrews 10:10 explains that we are sanctified through the offering of Jesus Christ once for all. Therefore, as David cries out for pardon in Psalm 25:11, we can be assured that our sins can be forgiven because of Jesus’ atoning work. The depth of God's love and the sufficiency of Christ's sacrifice assure us that we are not only forgiven but also reconciled to Him, as He delights in showing mercy.
