How do we know that God will protect us in times of trouble?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture assures us that in times of trouble, the Lord is our refuge and strength, promising to hide His people in His pavilion.

Psalm 27:5 states, 'For in the time of trouble, he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me.' This verse illustrates God's protective nature; He provides a safe place for His people amid challenges. The imagery indicates not just physical protection but a deep spiritual refuge where believers can find strength and comfort. In the instance of trouble, we can trust that God, through Christ, will provide the necessary shelter, as He has promised to never leave or forsake us.
