How do we know that God will redeem us?

Answered in 1 source

We trust in God's Word, remember past deliverances, and recognize His commitment to His glory.

The assurance of our redemption is firmly grounded in three key aspects. First, we have God's Word, which is unbreakable and trustworthy, affirming that we shall be redeemed without payment. Secondly, past deliverances provide testimony of God's faithfulness; for example, He redeemed Israel from Egypt without any ransom, illustrating that He intervenes for His people solely by His grace. Lastly, God's glory is at stake in our deliverance; He does not share His glory with another, ensuring that every act of redemption upholds His sovereign name and purpose. Therefore, we can be assured that just as He has delivered His people in the past, He will do so again.
