How do we know that God will save those He has chosen?

Answered in 1 source

We know God will save His elect because His Word assures that all whom He has chosen will come to Christ (John 6:37).

The assurance of God's salvation for His chosen people is grounded in the truth of Scripture. John 6:37 states, 'All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.' This promise underscores that those whom God elects will not only hear the gospel but will also respond with faith, coming to Christ as their Savior. The certainty of their salvation hinges on God's faithful nature and His sovereign will.

Additionally, Philippians 1:29 emphasizes that it has been granted to believers not only to believe in Christ but also to suffer for His sake. This implies that true faith is a gift from God, enabling His chosen ones to respond to His call. Therefore, the assurance that God will save His elect is woven throughout the fabric of biblical teaching, affirming His sovereignty and grace.
