How do we know that God will strengthen our hearts?

Answered in 2 sources

We know God will strengthen our hearts because His Word promises it, as stated in Psalm 27:14 and Isaiah 41:10.

The promise of God strengthening our hearts is firmly rooted in both scripture and the experiences of those who have faithfully trusted Him. Psalm 27:14 states, 'Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart.' This is coupled with the assurance found in Isaiah 41:10, where God declares, 'Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee.' These promises reflect God's unwavering commitment to support and uplift His children during trials.

In practice, believers often find encouragement through personal experiences and testimonies of God’s faithfulness in their lives and the lives of others. When we look back upon times of distress and see how God has provided strength and comfort, it further affirms our trust in His promise. Trusting in God’s Word assures us that He equips us for every circumstance and strengthens our hearts to withstand the trials of life.
