How do we know that grace allows us to ascend to Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Grace enables individuals to be drawn to Christ, transcending the condemnation of the law.

In the context of biblical teaching, grace is the means by which believers are drawn to Christ, allowing them access to the heavenly realities. Unlike the law which condemns and keeps individuals bound to the earth, grace, through the work of the Spirit, elevates believers into communion with Christ in the heavenly realm. Romans 8 elaborates on this concept, revealing that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. This is possible because Christ fulfilled the law on their behalf, taking the penalty for sin so that believers could be reconciled to God and drawn up into a relationship characterized by grace rather than fear.
