How do we know that grace can tame the tongue?

Answered in 1 source

The grace of God, through regeneration, changes our hearts, allowing us to use our tongues for praise instead of cursing.

In the sermon, it is emphasized that while the tongue is untamable by human effort, the grace of God can indeed transform it. As believers, we experience the work of the Holy Spirit that causes our hearts to change, and consequently, our words reflect that change. The old nature, which uses the tongue for bitterness and cursing, is gradually subdued by grace, enabling us to use our tongues to bless God and others instead.
