How do we know that grace dominates our lives?

Answered in 1 source

We can know grace dominates our lives by observing whether we yield to God rather than to sin, as our actions reveal our true master.

In Romans 6:14, Paul asserts that sin shall not have dominion over us because we are not under the law but under grace. To determine if grace dominates our lives, we must examine what rules over us. If we are yielding our members either to sin or to God, it reveals the ruling power in our lives. The evidence of grace's dominion is seen in our ability to disobey sinful inclinations and actively pursue righteousness. A true understanding of grace compels us to live not by human logic but by the transformative power of God’s love.
