How do we know that grace is essential for growth?

Grace is foundational for spiritual growth, as we see in Ephesians 2:8-10, which tells us that we are saved by grace through faith and created for good works. Growth sanctifies and matures believers; without grace, spiritual development is impossible. As we comprehend God’s grace more deeply, our hearts are transformed, and we exhibit the fruits of the Spirit. It is through grace that we come to realize our dependence on God, which naturally leads to a growing desire and ability to reflect His character in our lives.
