How do we know that grace is sufficient for our acceptance before God?

Answered in 1 source

We know grace is sufficient for our acceptance based on God's unchanging promise that those who trust in Christ will never be removed from His presence.

The assurance of our acceptance before God is rooted in His grace and the finished work of Christ. Psalm 125 illustrates that those who trust in the Lord cannot be removed, highlighting the security found in our relationship with Him. We are constantly assured that Christ's righteousness is our garment when we approach God. Thus, our confidence stems not from our actions or feelings but from the steadfastness of God’s grace and the mediatory role of Christ. Grace is unmerited favor, granting us access to God and assuring us of His eternal love.
