How do we know that grace leads to good works?

Answered in 2 sources

Good works are the expected evidences of a transformed life created by God's grace.

The relationship between grace and good works is beautifully articulated in the teachings of Paul. It is through God's grace that believers are transformed, and subsequently, good works naturally flow from this transformation. Ephesians 2:10 states that we are created in Christ for good works, indicating that while our actions do not earn salvation, they are an essential fruit of being reconciled to God. The apostle emphasizes that the good works believers perform are not out of obligation but are a response to the grace received through Christ, evidencing His work within. Therefore, true grace cultivates a life characterized by love, mercy, and service, fulfilling the very commandments of Christ.
