How do we know that grace never increases?

Answered in 1 source

Grace is God's unchanging favor towards us, meaning it cannot increase or decrease; we are completely justified at the moment of faith.

Grace, by definition, is the free favor of God towards His people. At the point of justification, a believer receives all the grace they will ever need; it cannot increase over time. In the sermon, it is emphasized that believers are fully justified in Christ upon faith, meaning one cannot be 'more justified' because justification is a complete and perfect act of God. Instead, what grows is our experience and understanding of that grace. As we grow in deeper knowledge of Christ, we become more aware of our sinfulness and God's mercy, which leads us to humility and reliance on Him, but His grace remains eternally unaltered.
