How do we know that grace transforms a believer's life?

Answered in 1 source

Grace transforms believers, making them new creatures who exhibit good works as evidence of their faith.

The transformation that comes through grace is a central tenet of the Christian faith, especially in the doctrine of sovereign grace. The Apostle Paul testifies of his own life, stating that it is by the grace of God he is what he is and that this grace is not in vain but produces abundant labor. This change is visible in how believers live; as they are regenerated, they begin to show the fruits of the Spirit and good works relevant to their faith. Thus, when a person claims to have experienced God's grace, their life ought to reflect genuine change, making it evident to others that they are indeed transformed.
