How do we know that Jesus accomplished salvation as foretold in Isaiah?

Answered in 1 source

Isaiah's prophecies about Jesus outline His mission to bring salvation, which He accomplished through His life, death, and resurrection as the perfect servant.

Isaiah 42 declares the Servant of the Lord will bring forth justice and righteousness, fulfilling the prophetic promise of salvation. Jesus Christ, through His life of obedience, sacrificial death, and triumphant resurrection, did indeed fulfill all that was foretold. He faced every obstacle — the temptation of Satan, the indifference of those around Him, and ultimately the cross — while remaining focused on His mission. The proclamation that He will not fail solidifies the assurance that Jesus successfully completed the work of salvation, which was necessary for the justification of His elect. This prophetic guarantee is confirmed in the reality of our salvation as believers who see the fulfillment of God's promises through Christ’s finished work.
