How do we know that Jesus brings eternal life?

In John 17:2, Jesus clearly states that the authority given to Him by the Father allows Him to grant eternal life to as many as the Father has given Him. This illustrates the sovereign grace of God in choosing individuals for salvation. The assurance of eternal life is rooted in Christ’s completed work and the relationship established through Him. Believers are not only promised life after death but a present relationship with God, reinforcing the assurance that He has the power to fulfill His promises.
