How do we know that Jesus came to accomplish God's will?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus affirmed that He came to do the will of the Father, which includes redeeming all whom the Father has given Him.

In John 6:38, Jesus explicitly states, 'For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.' This declaration highlights that His mission was deeply rooted in fulfilling the Father's plan for salvation. Throughout His ministry, Jesus consistently worked to redeem those whom the Father had ordained for salvation. The effectiveness of His mission is assured, as He promises that He will not lose any of those given to Him but will raise them up on the last day (John 6:39). This underscores the certainty of His redemptive work and assures believers of their security in Him.
