How do we know that Jesus can heal our spiritual sickness?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus's power to heal both physically and spiritually is demonstrated through His miracles in the Gospels.

The miracles of Jesus, such as the healing of the impotent man in John 5, not only reveal His authority over physical ailments but also serve as a metaphor for spiritual healing. Just as He spoke and the man was made whole, Jesus has the authority to heal our spiritual sickness, which is sin. In Colossians 1:19-22, we see that God reconciles us through Christ, making us holy and blameless. This assures us that Jesus's ability to heal isn’t restricted to physical ailments; it extends into the very depths of our souls, addressing our sin with His righteousness.
