How do we know that Jesus can help us in our temptations?

Answered in 1 source

We know Jesus can help us because He was tempted Himself and understands our struggles.

The ability of Jesus to help us in our temptations stems from His experience as someone who has faced the same struggles. In Hebrews 4:15, it says, 'For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.' This signifies that not only was He made like us, but His life demonstrated a profound engagement with temptation, making Him uniquely qualified to provide succor to us in our times of need. As we endure trials, we can turn to Him for aid, knowing that He intimately understands the weight of our struggles and has the power to deliver us.
