How do we know that Jesus can keep us from falling?

Answered in 1 source

We know that Jesus can keep us from falling because the Bible assures us of His ability to preserve His people until the end.

In Jude 1:24, we are reminded that Jesus is able to keep us from falling and to present us faultless before His glory. This assurance comes from understanding that our salvation is not dependent on our own strength or abilities, but on the power of Christ. The lame man's fear of falling after being healed mirrors our own fears regarding our faith; yet, we are encouraged that our security lies in Christ's perfect work. Furthermore, Philippians 1:6 reassures us that He who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Thus, our confidence rests not on our performance, but on His faithfulness.
