How do we know that Jesus Christ is our mediator?

Answered in 2 sources

Jesus Christ is our mediator because He took the book from God's hand, revealing His unique authority and role as our intercessor.

In the sermon, it is emphasized that Jesus, the Lamb, is our mediator who stands between God and humanity. He is the only one worthy to approach the throne of grace, as He conquered sin, death, and Satan. The act of taking the book from the right hand of God illustrates His authority to execute God's eternal purpose and will. This act not only confirms His role as mediator but also signifies that the redemptive work He accomplished on the cross is continually fresh in God's sight. He intercedes for believers, ensuring their prayers are heard and valued in heaven, as indicated in Revelation 5:8 where the prayers of the saints are presented before God.
