How do we know that Jesus Christ is the foundation of our faith?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus Christ is the foundation of faith as He fulfills the Old Testament prophecies and is central to the New Covenant.

The foundation of the Christian faith is built upon the person and work of Jesus Christ. As the culmination of Old Testament prophecies, Jesus fulfills the requirements for atonement and salvation outlined in the Scriptures. Matthew 5:17 states that Jesus did not come to abolish the Law, but to fulfill it. His sacrificial death and resurrection serve as the basis for the New Covenant, where Jesus offers grace and reconciliation to humanity (Hebrews 9:15). Additionally, believers’ acceptance before God is rooted in Christ's righteousness, as demonstrated in Romans 10:4, where Paul asserts that 'Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.' Therefore, every aspect of the faith points back to Jesus as the cornerstone.
