How do we know that Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of sacrifices?

Answered in 1 source

The Scriptures testify of Christ, who is our ultimate sacrifice as shown in the types and shadows of the Old Testament sacrifices.

The Old Testament sacrifices, such as the Passover lamb and the peace offerings, were instituted to foreshadow the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. He is the true Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world, fulfilling the requirements of the Law and providing reconciliation between God and His people. Throughout the New Testament, Jesus is revealed as the fulfillment of all Scripture, which points towards His sacrificial death and resurrection as the only means of salvation. His sacrifice is not just a ritual but is effective and permanent for those whom He came to redeem, affirming His role as our Mediator and High Priest.
