How do we know that Jesus Christ is the key to understanding the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus Christ is the key to the Bible because all Scripture points to Him and reveals God’s plan of salvation through His life and sacrifice.

As stated in the sermon, 'the key to the scriptures is a person, not a formula,' and this person is Jesus Christ. The entire narrative of the Bible is woven around Christ's redemptive work, which makes the mysteries of God's salvation accessible to believers. It is through Christ that we understand the hidden truths and receive divine revelation about God’s character and His plan for humanity. Furthermore, as Paul emphasized in Ephesians 1:3-4, God chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world, establishing that the understanding of God’s Word and His redemptive purpose center around our relationship with Christ, who is the ultimate revelation of God.
