How do we know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of sinners?

Answered in 1 source

We know Jesus Christ is the Savior of sinners because salvation is found in a personal relationship with Him.

In 2 Timothy 1:11, the Apostle Paul states, "For the witch calls I also suffer these things: Nevertheless, I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day." Salvation is fundamentally about knowing and believing in Jesus Christ. It is through faith in the person of Christ—who He is and what He has accomplished—that we receive salvation. The assurance of our salvation rests not on our understanding of doctrine alone but in the trustworthiness of Christ Himself.
