How do we know that Jesus Christ redeemed us?

Answered in 1 source

The redemption through Jesus Christ is affirmed in scripture as the only means to salvation.

Scripture consistently asserts that it is through the blood of Christ that we are redeemed. In Colossians 1:14, it is stated that in Christ, we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins. This concept is reinforced in 1 Peter 1:18-19, where it emphasizes that we were not redeemed with corruptible things but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. Understanding that our redemption is rooted in His sacrifice underscores the gravity of our salvation and the depth of God's love for us. Salvation is not a product of our merit; instead, it is a gift of grace accomplished solely by Christ’s work on the cross.
