How do we know that Jesus Christ rules over all things?

Answered in 1 source

We know Christ rules over all things because He is appointed as Lord by God, possessing all authority in heaven and earth.

The sovereignty of Christ is a core doctrine in Reformed theology. Matthew 28:18 confirms His statement where He declares all power is given to Him in heaven and on earth. This sovereignty means He governs all aspects of creation, maintaining and directing everything according to His will (Ephesians 1:11). Psalm 93:1 declares that the Lord reigns; He is clothed with majesty, affirming that His sovereign control is fundamental to our understanding of God's providence. This understanding encapsulates the essence of Christ's lordship over all realms, both spiritual and temporal.
