How do we know that Jesus could not sin?

Answered in 3 sources

Jesus could not sin because He is the Holy Son of God, and within Him, there is no sin (1 John 3:8).

The nature of Jesus Christ ensures that He could not sin. According to 1 John 3:8, it is stated that the Son of God was manifested to destroy the works of the devil. Though He was tempted in all points like we are, He remained without sin. His conception by the Holy Spirit and His identity as the second Adam affirm this truth; unlike the first Adam who fell into sin, Christ, as the Holy One, did not yield to any temptation. This absolute holiness is essential for our salvation and serves as a model for how we are to conduct ourselves in response to temptation.
