How do we know that Jesus gives us rest for our souls?

Answered in 1 source

We know Jesus gives rest because He is the one who provides the peace we seek through His sacrifice and ongoing presence in our lives.

Jesus promises rest for our souls to those who come to Him, as noted in Matthew 11:28-30. This rest is secured through His atoning work on the cross and His continuous intercession for us. The assurance that Christ provides rest is not based merely on feelings or circumstances but on the unequivocal promise of Scripture, indicating that He has conquered sin and death and grants peace through His blood (Ephesians 1:7). His invitation to take His yoke upon us reflects a call to unity with Him, where He carries our burdens and leads us in righteousness.
