How do we know that Jesus heals by His word?

Throughout the Gospels, instances where Jesus heals often emphasize the power of His spoken word. For example, in Luke 4, Jesus lays hands on every sick person who comes to Him, and they are healed immediately. This dynamic not only signifies His authority over physical ailments but also shows that healing is an act fulfilling the prophecies regarding the Messiah. In Isaiah 53, it was foretold that the Messiah would bear our griefs and carry our sorrows; thus, Jesus' healing acts are divine confirmations of His messianic role and point to the spiritual healing from sin He ultimately provides. His ability to heal through mere commands illustrates His divine nature and the intimate relationship between His word and His actions.
