How do we know that Jesus is both God and Savior?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is God manifested in the flesh, fulfilling prophecies and saving His people from their sins.

The testimony of scripture affirms that Jesus is fully God and fully man. In Revelation 22:16, Jesus declares Himself to be both the root and offspring of David, indicating His eternal divinity and His humanity. Additionally,1 Timothy 3:16 states that 'God was manifest in the flesh,' making it clear that the incarnation is a miraculous act where the Creator entered into His creation. The prophecies in Isaiah, such as Isaiah 9:6, refer to the coming Messiah as the Mighty God and Everlasting Father, further establishing that the child born to Mary was indeed God Himself, coming to save His people.
