How do we know that Jesus is honored by the Father?

In John 8:50, Jesus states, 'I seek not mine own glory, but there is one that seeketh and judgeth.' This indicates the intimate and cooperative relationship between the Father and the Son where the Father seeks to glorify the Son. This is further expounded in Philippians 2, where Jesus, in His humility and obedience to the point of death, is exalted by the Father.
