How do we know that Jesus is our Counselor?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is our Counselor, guiding us in truth and wisdom, as revealed in Scripture.

Isaiah 9:6 identifies Jesus as Counselor, reflecting His integral role in providing divine guidance and wisdom. He is the authoritative voice we need in a world full of misleading counsel. As God's Counselor, He was present during creation, involved in the divine counsel that established the world (Genesis 1:26). Ephesians 1 speaks to His sovereign counsel in redemption, showing that He guides believers according to His perfect will. As our Counselor, Jesus directs us back to God, ensuring we seek truth and wisdom through His teachings rather than the flawed advice of the world or our own hearts.
