How do we know that Jesus is our guilt offering?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus fulfills the guilt offering as our substitute, bearing our sins and granting us forgiveness through His sacrificial death.

Jesus is presented as the ultimate Guilt offering in the New Testament, as He bears the sins of the elect and provides full atonement. Just as the Old Testament guilt offering involved the sacrifice of a ram, Jesus' death on the cross fulfills that requirement by taking upon Himself the penalty for our trespasses. He is made to be all our sin, offering not just forgiveness but also His own righteousness to cover our guilt. This means that through faith in Christ, we are justified and our sins are ever before Him no more.
