How do we know that Jesus is our Lord and Savior?

The conviction of Jesus as our Lord and Savior is rooted in both scriptural promise and personal experience. Peter's proclamation in Acts 2:36, that 'God hath made that same Jesus whom ye have crucified both Lord and Christ,' confirms Christ's divine authority and role in salvation. The transformative work of the Holy Spirit in our hearts is what assures us of our faith.
