How do we know that Jesus is our only way to God?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus states unequivocally that no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).

In John 14:6, Jesus proclaims, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.' This verse encapsulates the exclusive nature of Christ's role as the mediator between God and humanity. The theological implication is profound; it underscores the necessity of faith in Christ's sacrificial work for salvation. The righteousness required to stand before a holy God can only be attained through faith in Jesus, who fulfilled the law (Romans 10:4). Thus, any approach to God that bypasses the person and work of Christ is ultimately inadequate and leads to condemnation.
