How do we know that Jesus is our peace?

Jesus emphasizes in John 16:33 that true peace is found in Him. He provides reassurance by acknowledging the inevitable tribulations believers will face in the world. However, His overcoming of the world assures us that we can have peace in the midst of chaos and suffering. This peace is not dependent on our circumstances or personal discipline; it is a gift from Christ, rooted in His finished work and the presence of the Holy Spirit, who comforts and guides us in our trials. Therefore, believers can take heart and find solace in Christ's victory, knowing He offers lasting peace.
