How do we know that Jesus is our refuge against sin?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is affirmed as our refuge through His sinless life and sacrificial death, which atones for our sins.

Hebrews 4:15 illustrates that Jesus is a high priest who is able to sympathize with our weaknesses because He was tempted in every way, yet without sin. He serves as our perfect refuge because He bore the penalty for sin that we could never pay. Romans 6:23 teaches us that the wages of sin is death, yet in Christ, we find life through His sacrifice. Therefore, Jesus not only protects us from the condemnation our sins deserve but also provides us a way to be reconciled to God, marking Him as the ultimate refuge for sinners.
