How do we know that Jesus is our source of true satisfaction?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is our source of true satisfaction because He offers spiritual sustenance that goes beyond physical needs (John 4:32-33).

The Bible illustrates that true satisfaction is not found in physical nourishment but in fulfilling God's will and purpose. In John 4:32-33, when Jesus tells His disciples, 'I have meat to eat that ye know not of,' He implies that there exists a deeper, spiritual food that sustains the soul. This food consists of doing the will of God—loving God, serving others, and proclaiming the Gospel. The experience of the Samaritan woman further confirms this; once she encounters Jesus, her spiritual thirst is quenched, leading her to proclaim Him to others (John 4:29). Therefore, in recognizing Jesus as the source of living water, believers find true and lasting satisfaction.
