How do we know that Jesus is the appointed heir of all things?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is declared the appointed heir of all things as the God-man, who has authority over everything by divine right.

In Hebrews 1:2, it is stated that Jesus is the appointed heir of all things. This means that, as the God-man, He possesses the absolute right to govern all creation. Although He is God, the Father has appointed Him as the heir, signifying His mediatorial role. His authority is affirmed because He is both the creator and sustainer of all things, making Him the rightful ruler over all aspects of existence. Therefore, He has the sovereign ability to dispense grace and salvation as He wills.
