How do we know that Jesus is the foundation of salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is the cornerstone of salvation, as affirmed in Scripture, and through His resurrection, He secures our eternal life.

The foundation of salvation in Christianity rests upon Jesus Christ, who is referred to as the cornerstone in Isaiah 28:16 and Matthew 16:18. The Apostle Peter emphasized that it is only through Christ that healing and wholeness are found, dispelling misunderstandings of miracles being attributed to men. When Peter declared, 'by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth' the impotent man was healed, he pointed to Christ's divine authority and role in salvation. His resurrection triumphs over death, confirming that all who believe in Him are given everlasting life, thus solidifying His place as the foundation of salvation.
