How do we know that Jesus is the fulfillment of God's promise?

Answered in 1 source

We know Jesus fulfills God's promises through His life, teachings, and the prophetic Scriptures that point to Him as the Messiah.

Scripture attests that Jesus is the promised Messiah through numerous prophecies fulfilled in His life and ministry. The Old Testament foretelling, including prophecies made about the lineage, birth, and works of Christ, coalesce to confirm His identity. His arrival not only surpasses expectations placed upon earthly kings like Solomon but completes the covenant promises made by God to His people. As a greater than Solomon, Jesus’s authority and divine works stand in stark contrast to the temporary glory of kings, solidifying His unique role in salvation history. Therefore, by examining both the prophetic writings and Jesus’s life, we can confidently affirm His fulfillment of God's promises.
