How do we know that Jesus is the fulfillment of the Gospel?

Answered in 1 source

We know Jesus fulfills the Gospel through His life, death, and resurrection, which were prophesied in Scriptures.

The Gospel is centered on the person and work of Jesus Christ, who is the fulfillment of God's promises in Scripture. According to 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Christ died for our sins and rose again, thereby accomplishing the salvation of His people as foretold in the prophets. This historical reality, affirmed by the apostles and backed by the prophetic writings throughout the Old Testament, provides solid assurance of the truth of the Gospel. It is through Christ's finished work that we find assurance and hope for salvation, highlighting His role as our mediator and Savior.
