How do we know that Jesus is the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets?
Answered in 1 source
Jesus fulfills the Law and the Prophets, as all of Scripture points to Him as the Messiah.
Throughout the New Testament, Jesus Himself affirmed that the Law and the Prophets speak of Him and His mission. In Luke 24:27, after His resurrection, Jesus explained to the disciples how all the Scriptures concerning Him must be fulfilled, beginning with Moses and all the Prophets. This connection shows that every aspect of the Old Testament is a precursor to His coming and is fulfilled in His life, death, and resurrection. The numerous prophetic references and sacrificial symbols in the Old Testament all lead to the one true sacrifice offered by Christ, distinguishing Him as the definitive answer to humanity's sin problem.
