How do we know that Jesus is the King set upon Zion?

The declaration that God has set His King on the holy hill of Zion (Psalm 2:6) confirms Jesus' royal authority and His eternal kingship. Zion represents the presence of God with His people and is emblematic of His kingdom on earth. Throughout Scripture, especially in Hebrews 1:5, we see the unique relationship between God the Father and Jesus, the begotten Son.
