How do we know that Jesus is the remedy for sin?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is the remedy for sin because He, through His perfect life and sacrificial death, reconciles us to God and provides the righteousness we need (Romans 3:21-22).

The remedy for sin truly lies in Jesus Christ. He came into the world as a representative man, just like Adam was the representative of humanity. However, while Adam failed and brought sin into the world, Jesus lived a perfect life, fulfilling all righteousness required by the Law. His death was not just any death; it was a sacrificial death that atoned for the sins of His people. In Romans 3:21-22, we learn that the righteousness of God comes through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. This means that Christ provides us with a perfect standing before God, correcting the separation caused by sin and restoring the relationship that was lost.
