How do we know that Jesus is the true rock of salvation?

The identity of Jesus as the rock of salvation is etched throughout the Scriptures, particularly in passages like 1 Peter 2:6, which asserts that Jesus is the cornerstone chosen by God. His teachings in Matthew 16:18, where He tells Peter that on this rock He will build His church, further affirm this foundation. Jesus fulfills the prophecy of Isaiah 28:16, which speaks of God laying a stone in Zion, a tested stone. Additionally, His resurrection demonstrates His authority over sin and death, solidifying the belief that salvation is only found in Him. Therefore, through both fulfillment of prophecy and the transformative power of His sacrifice, we know Jesus is indeed the true rock of salvation.
