How do we know that Jesus is the true sacrifice for sin?

Jesus Christ is affirmed as the true sacrifice through various Old Testament prophecies that point to His redemptive work. In Zechariah 13:7, we see the imagery of God’s Shepherd being struck, affirming the sacrificial role of Jesus. The Gospels reveal that Jesus is the fulfillment of these promises, as He offers Himself not only as a teacher but as the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world (John 1:29).
