How do we know that Jesus is the unique source of spiritual truth?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus claims unique authority as the only one who has come down from heaven to reveal spiritual truth (John 3:13).

In the conversation with Nicodemus, Jesus points out His unique status as the only one who has descended from heaven and can testify about heavenly things (John 3:11-13). He asserts that earthly understanding is insufficient to grasp divine truths without His revelation. His authority rests on His identity as the God-Man, the messenger of the covenant, who conveys the message of salvation and eternal life. The distinction of Jesus as the sole bearer of truth is reinforced throughout the Gospel, highlighting the necessity of looking to Him for spiritual understanding and truth (Colossians 2:3).
