How do we know that Jesus is the way to God?

In John 14:6, Jesus proclaims, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.' This claim is foundational to the Christian faith and confirms that there is only one pathway to God, which is through Jesus Christ. His unique role as both fully divine and fully human makes Him the only fitting mediator between God and mankind, providing the necessary atonement for sin through His death and resurrection. Thus, the assurance of salvation rests solely in His person and work, not in our efforts or any other alternative.
